Your ski holiday at Plan de Corones in South Tyrol – Dolomites
Welcome to the winter paradise at Plan de Corones
White slopes, a mostly deep blue sky and endless possibilities for sport and fun outdoors. This is winter in the Plan de Corones holiday region and in San Vigilio. The ideal place for your ski holiday in South Tyrol, for cross-country skiing or winter hiking in the Dolomites.
Fun on the slopes and a stop at Plan de Corones
Get off your skis and come into La Para. You can’t get any closer to the ski area. We are located directly at the intersection of three well known ski slopes at the famous Plan de Corones: “Erta”, “Piz de Plaies” and “Sorega”. There will be no limits to the absolute fun on the slopes. And the next day we go straight back out onto the slopes. This is how we create the perfect ski holidays in Val Pusteria in the Dolomites.
2 in-house ski instructors
Two trained in-house ski instructors. That is what we call luxury! Our father Felix and our brother Ivan teach this beautiful sport at the San Vigilio ski school and are always happy to offer a private lesson to our guests.
Enjoy nature on the cross-country ski trail
15 kilometres of perfectly prepared trails which lead from the village centre to deep into the natural park. And as a companion, the sight of the rock giants of the Dolomites. That is a cross-country skiing holiday in San Vigilio. And if that is not enough for you: in the closer vicinity there are numerous other cross-country ski centres and trails just waiting to be discovered.
Winter hiking & snowshoeing: finally come back down
Enjoy the landscape, feel the absolute quiet. All you can hear is the crunching of snowshoes underfoot. Snowshoeing and winter hiking in San Vigilio and in the Dolomites is a unique experience. The Tourism association organises guided tours of all levels of difficulty in the area. Join in on this winter experience of a special kind.
Fast-paced tobogganing fun
There are several toboggan runs in the area, where you can have fun on two runners. Whether you prefer going up on foot or the ride with the lift, it’s entirely up to you. A very popular toboggan run is at the valley station of the “Cianross” slope, on our mountain. You can rent a sleigh there too.
