In San Vigilio you can find the visit centre of the natural park of Fanes–Sennes–Braies, where your children can discover the secrets and curiosities of the nature of the Dolomites, admire reptiles in the terrarium and see the cavern of the Conturines bear.
Not too far from here, you can find the wonderful “Trù dles liondes”, a thematic path with illustrated panels dedicated to the legend of the Fanes Kingdom. Walking here is very easy and it is suitable also for strollers, it crosses forests and often runs along a river.
For a relaxing day, we suggest the wonderful relaxation area of Ciamaor beach. This is a natural playground at 1.5 km from San Vigilio where you will find green areas, benches and tables, a playground and a sand beach where your children can have fun.
A ride at the Horse Trekking Mareo on a beautiful Icelandic horse is an emotion for every kid. On the other side, for a day in the close Val Pusteria, we suggest the 3D archery trail in Valdaora, the interactive museum of Teodone, the adventure park on the Issengo lake in Falzes, and also a good relaxation in the swimming pool Kron4 of Riscone with a baby pool for your children.
In winter, the Kinderland – snow kindergarten in San Vigilio di Marebbe is the perfect place to let your children approach the skiing discipline, whereas toboggan runs are ideal to have fun with the family. There is also the possibility to climb down with the toboggan from Fanes Alp and Fodara Vedla.
